Getting in Shape

Feeling "bulked up"

Since the beginning of January, I've been working on eating healthier (more like eating clean... cutting back on processed foods, lots of fruit, veggies, and water, finding recipes to make at home) and coming up with an exercise schedule I can stick to consistently. I've been doing beginner's yoga for an hour a week, 1.5-2 hours of cardio a week (spread out) along with an hour of weight training.

I know it's common to see some weight gain just from fluctuating at the beginning of this, so that hasn't worried me at all. I bounced back to normal in a few days. But I notice that whenever I start doing more weights I feel bigger and bulkier, but my muscles do feel firmer. Is this something that's going to go away if I just keep at it, or do I need to adjust something? (The feeling bigger, not the muscle). Right now it feels like there is muscle there, but there still feels like a lot of extra fat on top. My goal is to tone up and slim down.
