Monday Accountability

Oh my poor hands.  I spent all day yesterday grouting our new shower and now I barely have fingerprints.  I feel like I should rob a bank!

B: Chocolate banana shake, coffee w/ skim milk
S: almonds and string cheese
L: Big fun salad: mixed field greens, cherry tomatoes, green onion, cucumber, low fat cheese and chicken, apple
S: homemade hummus (SUPER garlicy) and a red pepper
D: eggs, bacon, english muffins, likely as sandwiches.

E: NROL4W Stage 4A Workout 4 (finally, I've been slacking)

  • I was such a slacker all weekend! Back on track for the week.
    I'm going grocery shopping tonight so today's not awesome, but at lease I'll get some exercise in
    b-coffee, the top of a lot-fat cranberry muffin
    l-leftover chicken panini (1/2)
    d- chicken with a chipotle maple glaze and salad
    s-some type of fruit

    e-30 minutes elliptical and then arms/abs depending on the time.

    E - sleep.  Seriously I'm wiped.  There will be no gym today.

  • I am exhausted today! That weekend did not feel like a rest. Today my work schedule changes for the summer, so I am switching the PM workouts after work instead of AM before. I'm excited to switch things up (and try new classes), but feels weird not to be going to the gym now!

    b- watermelon, yogurt
    l- leftover lasagna roll-up made with light cheese and veggies, green beans
    s- watermelon (we have a huge one cut up), think thin bar on way to gym
    d- veggie and tofu stiry fry with brown rice
    s- more watermelon? not sure!

    e- 1 hour circuit class at gym
  • Fi got me sick over the weekend so my entire weekend was shot workout wise thanks to an inability to breathe, zero energy and sore throat. Still trying to get rid of it today. Plus my shower's this weekend so I'm trying to eat really well now because I have no idea what Saturday's food is going to be.

    B - raisin, walnut & date oatmeal
    S - banana
    L - 1 cup multigrain cheerios w/ almond milk
    S - carrots with laughing cow
    D - TBD

    E - abs this AM,  walk at lunch, 45 min ellip at gym after work if I feel ok

  •  Went away this weekend and wasn't able to eat that fantastic the whole time so I will deal with it and continue to eat heatlhy today.

    B: egg white, cheese, bagel
    S: Greek Yogurt
    L: salad
    S: gold fish
    D: TBD - premarital counsling tonight so depends on when we get out of it.

  • Morning! Weekend went fine, except when my friend convinced me to stop for pizza after we went out for drinks!

    B - greek yogurt, granola, blackberries, honey, coffee with ff half and half and protein powder
    S - smartfood honey multigrain popcorn clusters
    L - leftover potato and kale enchiladas with pepitas and homemade red sauce
    S - think thin mini protein bar
    D - Italian bread salad, broccoli rabe sauteed in garlic

    E - personal training session (strength), squats

    E: 60 min on treadmill, hopefully 4 miles of it jogging

  • So I think i ate my way through the weekend... dinner friday night at an amazing little italian place! And then Saturday leftovers from the amazing italian place and lunch with inlaw yesterday! Yippes! BUT I did walk an hour both days, so that's good.

    B - Two flax waffles with banana and PB
    S - Kashi oatmeal cookie - basically a round granola bar!
    L - Broc salad (broc with dried cranberries, walnuts and yogurt dressing. YUMMO!) Protein shake
    S- Yogurt
    D - Left over egglant with chicken sausage sauce.

    E - walk tonight if I get home before it's dark.

    S: Liquid vanilla protein shake
    L: Chicken breast w/grilled onions and peppers
    S: Vanilla protein shake w/raspberries
    D: Roasted pork tenderloin, steamed broccoli

    E: 45 min cardio (15 min treadmill, 15 min elliptical, 15 min stair climber), weights (glutes/calves)

    Went backpacking this weekend, so while I didn't do great foodwise, burned lots of exercise calories :).
  • My weekend went fine I had the kids at the pool all weekend so I got a good workout.  I spent my entire morning shopping which I hate but found some really good deals.

    l-1/2 turkey avacado burger from Chili's (sooo good) side salad

    d-other half of my burger from lunch, spinach salad
