I've been lurking for awhile now and I love this board. I joined a bootcamp this last week and the trainer mentioned to us yesterday and we should be eating half of our weight in grams of protein (so, I'm 135 and should be eating 67.5 grams of protein/day!). Doesn't that seem like a lot??
Also, he said that we should be drinking half of our weight in ounces of water, plus the amount we want to lose. So, I would drink 67.5 + 10 ounces/day. Anyone know the reasoning behind that? I've never heard that before.
Oh and last thing, I had to tell you about a delicious breakfast I made this morning--3 scrambled egg whites, 1/2 avocado and salsa on top of a piece of whole wheat toast. YUM!
