So I'm just trying to find more information about the Slimweight Patch (made and sold by Roduve Healthcare Solutions). Doing searches doesn't seem to be turning up any reviews of the product that don't feel biased (in favour) to me.
The closest I came was in finding two reports on ripoffreport.com, both of which were regarding not recieving product (though both were replied to by the company and seemed to have been resolved).
Why I'm even inclined to consider this product is that it doesn't guarantee an outrageous amount of weight loss. 2lbs/week (it says losing 2-4lbs, but one can always assume the lower number), which is within the healthy range of weekly weight loss. So it doesn't immediately scream "fraud!"
I like that I can use PayPal (because they offer buyer insurance as well), and they offer a 180 day money back guarantee, but that doens't necessarily mean anything...
Things that make me wary are, of course, the lack of outside information. As well, they keep saying that it's all "clinically proven", but in reality it's the individual ingredients are clinical proven, not the mix, or the patch itself. (Direct quote from the site; "Nicotine Patches Prove That Trans Dermal Technology Work!"... what does that have to do with a weight loss patch?)
I do like the fact that the testimonials on the site don't all seem to be formulated... One person mentions not being sure if the patches do anything or if its a placebo effect but liking that they've seen weight loss... But maybe they have a truly creative faux testimonial writer on staff...
Also it always seems like a warning sign to me when I spot grammar and spelling errors. While I understand that people can make mistakes, if its a professional company trying to sell legit products, shouldn't that sort of thing have been checked and double checked before being put out there for the world to see?
Anyway, just wondering if anyone here has tried it or directly knows somebody that has (i.e., your MOH or BFF) and would like to share results? Did it work or was it a total waste of money?
