Monday Accountability

Good morning! Not really too sure of all my meals today...with 4 days left it is going to be a hectic week, but here goes:
B- light english muffin, 1 egg, 1 slice cheese, coffee
S- Kashi Bar
L- ??? maybe a veggie burger, light bun, cheese
D- mom is bringing over veggie lasagna when she comes to help iron tableclothes tonight....yayyy for not having to cook!

E- definately going to try my hardest to get shoulder and HIIT in....

  • Oy.  Yesterday was a massive hangover day, ie, eating everything in the house.  Oh well!  Back at it today (mostly)

    B: toasted everything bagel w/ herb cream cheese
    S: string cheese x2
    L: TBD, I'm thinking salad bar
    S: red pepper and hummus
    D: TBD, probably something on the grill

    E: rest day and house clean up.

  • Ugh Raynes I feel your pain. Bachelorette was Saturday night and fi was waiting for me Sunday morning with a lovely McD's breakfast sandwich. And fitting #2 is tomorrow. FML...

    B - hardboiled egg on multigrain english muffin w/ queso fresca LC wedge, 2 slices ham and 1 slice tomato
    S - banana
    L - 3 slices chicken breast on lavash wrap w/ lettuce, tomato and LC wedge
    S - baby carrots w/ 1 tbsp 1/3 LF mixed veggie cream cheese
    D - portabello "slider" on sandwich thin w/ lettuce, tomato, LC wedge, broccoli cheddar side, 1 c. peach green tea

    E - AM abs, HIIT/elliptical w/ arm weights, possibly 30 DS if time. Only 4 weeks now!!!

  • Morning! We went to a wedding Saturday, which I didn't do too bad at, but Sunday was a killer!

    b-life, coffee
    l-no clue, I haven't been too hungry lately.
    d-pasta, pesto, shrimp, roasted red peppers, artichokes. Salad on the side.

    e-60 mins elliptical.

  • B: 1 yellow pepper, 1 babybel cheese (full fat), 2 ts peanut butter
    L: salad with chicken breast, scrambled egg, brown rice, cucumber + scoop of potato salad 
    S: 2 handfuls almonds, 2 Hershey nuggets (UGH, I don't even like those chocolates, but they just look so appealing in that bowl right.next.to.ny.desk)
    D: TDB - possibly roast chicken, hummus & grilled zucchini/eggplant/peppers.

    I'm having a hungry day...

    E: 4x4 running intervals (although for an outside observer, my "running" equates to others' jogging. But that's ok).
  • Morning! I didn't go to the gym this weekend due to mainly wedding-related errands and the fact that the cats had fleas so... that was fun. Anyway.

    B - egg, fat-free feta and tomato omlette. Eating it now. Yum!
    S - coffee
    L - greek-style whole wheat lavish wrap - hummus, more feta, tomato, cucumber, olives
    S - watermelon
    D - summer salad - mixed greens, cashews, strawberries, goat cheese, balsamic vinaigrette.

    E - training session. And get this: I already went to the gym today! My trainer is going on vacation and leaving tonight, so 5am was the only time we could squeeze in this week. Yikes! I've been awake for over 2 hours. Feeling good so far, though. Hope the calorie burn keeps me awake all day. And hey, at least I don't have to go to the gym after work.

  • I was terrible this weekend- went out of town to see my best friend.
    Back at eating healthy this week.

    B- Oatmeal, coffee
    S- 100 cal ritz
    L- Jambalaya
    S- Greek yogurt
    D- Salad

    E- Kettlebell weight routine, walk (If I have time- I am going to meet with the person making my invites!)

  • This is my first time posting in this forum... I like it!

    B - 1/3 cup plain oatmeal, 4 egg whites, 10 almonds
    S - 1 scoop protein powder, 1 cup milk, 20 almonds
    L - spinich salad with 1 can of tuna in olive oil
    S - 2 plain rice cakes, 1 cup berries

    Workout - 45 min cardio, 25 min weights (lower body today)

    S - 2 rice cakes, 1tbsp peanut butter, 1 apple, 1 scoop protein 

    D - 4oz talipia fish, 1 cup veggies  
  • I had a not great food weekend, between sharing a nachos appetizer on Friday, a wedding on Saturday, and a meal at The Counter on Sunday, so back on track this week!

    b- 1 slice toasted olive bread, yogurt
    s- handful of almonds
    l- leftover black bean casserole
    s- carrot sticks, Kind bar
    d- grilled chicken with BBQ sauce, roasted potatoes, green beans
    s- small slice of chocolate loaf bread

    e- 1 hour circuit class

    Honestly, without the accountability of HAVING to meet my trainer, I wouldn't have done it. I went to bed at 9:30 last night though!

    I'd love to workout in the morning more often, but going to bed at 9:30 doesn't really work for me all the time! And I have to be at work by 8:30, which means getting up at 6:30 anyway and leaving the house at 7:45. Getting up at 5 to get an hour in at the gym is just more than I'm willing to do every day.

  • I hear you.  I have to be out of the house by 7 to get to work for 8, so I'd need to be up somewhere in the 4 o'clock hour, and that's just not happening!
