Rehearsal Dinner Suggestions

I am looking for a place to host my rehearsal dinner in the uptown/downtown area for around 40-50 people. We would like to stay in the $30-$40 range including alcohol if possible. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

I am not sure what it cost but we got married in Uptown and had our RD at the Blue Mesa at Northpark.  I really wanted the Mattito's on Routh--they have a great private room that is separate from the restaurant.  We also considered Maggiano's at Northpark.

we're doing ours at breadwinners on lovers. i love the place and it's on the cheaper side. i didn't want to do it at the mckinney location because parking is so difficult. 

i also considered: gloria's, campisi's, and babe's chicken (b/c we have lots of out of towners....but that's out in carrollton). i like rathbun's blue plate kitchen as well, but didn't check out prices.

I've been to a RD at Spring Creek BBQ. We had a nice private room.

Maggiano's...yum! I love that place!

Sorry, Blue Mesa is actually across from Northpark.  Next to Cheesecake Factory.

We ruled out Maggiano's because they had a $2k minimum for the room we wanted.

There's also Pappadeux on Oak Lawn.  I had a private party there and it was really nice with no room charge and no minimum.

oh yeah... there's also villa o and trece on travis. those are nice places and i know they work out deals for large parties...
