    Dear Ladies,

Hello. I miss you all but I am enjoying time with my other half. He's playing a game on his computer this morning, so I've been playing catch-up on all the board posts from the past week.

    Dear Meghan,

    I love your dress!

    PWWWWEASE hurry up!

    Thank ya,
    Brooke

    Dear knotties,

Has anyone tried proactive? I am thinking about it. My skin is a little oily and I don't break out too too much except for my forehead. I just want to keep what I do have under control. o if you have used it lemme know what you think please!

    Brooke,

I use proactiv and its the only thing that has really worked to keep my skin clear.  Two negatives...if you don't use it often enough, your skin will break out again.  Also, you want to be careful because it will bleach out your clothes and sheets.  But it does keep my skin clear.

    Dear post office,

Why are you closed at 5pm, it makes no sense.

    Dear Wendi,

I miss our workouts and cant wait to get back on track tomorrow, I bought a jump rope too!

    Dear Brooke,

One of the gals I knew in Omaha is a Dermatologist and while proactiv will clear up your skin its really a short term solution and your skin will break out when you stop using.  Also, according to her in the long term its not really healthy for your skin.  If you are just looking for a very short term solution it might be worth it.

    Dear Student,
No, I'm not going to let you finish the test tomorrow for two reasons.  #1:  everyone else--not just in your class but in both of the other classes--finished it within the given time.  #2:  I'm not stupid.  I know you're going to go home tonight and study so that you can change all your answers.

    Your Teacher

    Dear Knotties,
I don't know why my students are annoying me so much.

    Dear Madcon,
I love your version of The Four Season's song "Beggin'".

    Dear Bice's,
My husband orders quite a few flowers from you and he's very disappointed that you couldn't even make it before the school closed for the day.

    Dear Dad,
Thank you for the flowers and the bear yesterday.  I love you!

    Dear Sarah,
I never knew ProActiv would bleach clothes and sheets--that explains the blotchy towels that I have recently discovered!! I was very close to blaming FI for doing something mysterious to ruin my $10 towels that I love love love. He is now off the hook, I am certain that he thanks you :)

    Dear Chicken Alfredo-
I'm sorry but you weren't that great last night even though you had rave reviews.  Too bad I have your leftovers for lunch.

    Dear Cheesy Garlic Bread Swirls-
You have stunk up my house so now it smells like garlic and butter and makes me crave you even more :(

    Dear Tuesday-
Please let work go by fast but let the time between 5 pm and bed time go as slow as soy sauce up a hill in winter.  I'm ready for a nap already and it's not even 9 am.  I have no idea how I will make it through the day without doing a face plant in to my keyboard.

    Dear Julie-
How was the school board meeting last night?

    Dear Brooke-
I tried Proactive 7 years ago and did not have a great experience, however DH liked it.  This was with the old formula though.

    Brooke,
I used it, but don't think it really helped me.  I recently went to the dermatologist and am now using a prescription wash (which, after deals from the doctor's office was cheaper than Proactiv) in preparation for the wedding.  My skin isn't bad, just a little oily (which is common with African American skin) and a couple of little bumps on my forehead.

    Dear Brooke,
I use Arbonne instead. Proactive has too many steps for me and I like that I am able to use one product instead of 3 or 4.

My FI used to use Proactiv until he messed up some of his clothes. He called the customer hotline and said they messed up his formula. lol Than he tried out a sample from Arbonne and now, there is no switching. He's getting worse than me. A friend had a party and he wanted to go more than I did. lol

    Dear Shortgirl,
It wasn't the best thing but they don't have my program on the block as of right now.  However, if the worst case scendario comes true and we have to find $25 million, then I expect that my job will be on the line.  I have a smallish program but a pretty good reputation.  The good news I got this morning is that my zero period may start becoming part of my day.  Bad because I'll miss out on some of my salary.  However, I could start leaving at 2:45 every day.

    Dear Julie-
I'm glad to hear you are safe right now.  I wish they would look elsewhere for cuts (ahem, athletics) instead of going for education.

    Dear students-
I really hate it when some of you come to say hi because guess what?  I don't remember you.  That is why you don't get much more than a few questions out of me because no I don't remember 'that one time' even though I pry to figure out how I know you.

Yeah, as of right now, they are only cutting one program, elementary Spanish.  So, we'll see.  However, that worst case scenario business is so very scary and so very possible.  Did you know that school boards have to approve a budget by the end of May/June but the State of Texas legislature doesn't have to approve a budget until August 31st at 11:59 PM?  That means that we have to make a budget not knowing what the state will be giving us (or any other schoold district).

[QUOTE]Dear shortgirl, While I agree that there might be a lot more deserving programs, athletics is one of the few school programs that actually generates its own revenue -- that's part of the reason sports are rarely on the chopping block.  That and school glory. -Knottie who wouldn't mind if any of the hundreds of admins in her district would take a pay cut to save moneys.

They're actually talking about shortening our admins. number of days.  And also, where would they put all these kids for the PE credit because we only have two PE teachers and they're only part time?  It's a mess.

Proactiv dried my skin and eyes out.  But I know plenty of other people who swear by it. So it's probably worth trying. Do they still have the money back guarantee? I know I ended up getting my money back for it.
