Getting in Shape

First goal down!

Hi everyone,

I've been doing weight watchers since I came back from a visit to the future in-laws in Reno (where I gained 5lbs in 5 days because they only eat out! and don't have a dining room table!!)

I was up to 215lbs and my size 18 jeans were getting super tight when I got home.

This morning I reached my first goal of 200lbs! My jeans are so loose and I finally broke down and bought a size 16 jeans.

I've lost 10lbs since I bought my wedding dress and hope to lose another 10 by the wedding day - - Nov 20th. I have my first fitting in mid/late Sept so we'll see how that goes.

I hope to post pre-weight loss wedding dress photo, and post-fitting wedding dress photos when the time comes!

  • Thanks Raynes! I'm also finished with the "New Rules of Weight Lifting" Its a good read and I'm looking forward to start lifting!

  • I'm not encouraging eating sweets, but I know when you try to be good with any diet there are certain things you crave...

    My friend told me about this super easy WW-friendly dessert.  Buy regular angel food cake and add a large can of crushed pineapple (no water, nothing else) - bake as normal.  It's just the right amount of sweet and flavor without killing your diet.
