i saw a post-wedding picture of myself last night and holy hell it wasn't good. so im ACTUALLY planning today....well mostly. and im going to do some real exercising that hasnt been happening since the wedding. i want to be a healthy person at some point in my life! :)

    Thanks Graceful and EVERYONE for your support yesterday!!!! You guys are the best-I love this board. lol. Interview went GREAT and I have to do a demo lesson at the school tomorrow at 10am. OMG--i'm freaking out - lol. Too much pressure on all aspects of life right now.

  • Morning, ladies! My workout yesterday just about killed me. I squat way too low on 30DS & now I'm paying for it. Ughghg.... good thing today is just stretching for P90X.

  • I need to vent, so I'm doing it here.  My office is a bakery!!!  My boss is either super pregnant hungry or is trying to buy our love and affection with baked goods.  She brings in something sweet almost every day.  Candy, chocolate, cupcakes, donuts, cookies. Today it was donuts AND cookies!!  Its extremely frustrating...she just got married in March and she knows all about trying to get in shape for your wedding. We've talked about it 1,000 times and she knows how hard I'm trying.  I'm not saying the entire office has to suffer because I'm on a diet, but I just wish it were a once in a while treat, not a daily indulgence.  My willpower hasn't been that great lately becuase of stress.  Its so hard to say every day "today I'm going to be good" and then  have someone shove a box of red velvet cake under your nose.   I know she's not trying to sabotage me, but she is!!!  Luckily today I avoided the cookies and donuts becuase I'm just so annoyed by it all. :-(

    okay, thanks for letting me vent.  Anyone have any tips for office temptations?  Munching on my home-brought snacks and carrot sticks only goes so far.

  • Thanks!  I actually follow both those tips.  In fact, I chewed so much gum in the recent months, I was getting aches in my jaw.  I do that sometimes too, take a bite to satisfy the craving and then get rid of the rest.  Sometimes that just makes me want more though!

    I'm proud of myself, I'm sitting here in an empty office, cookies mere feet away, I'm just eating my salad.  I should lose a pound this week just for this!!

  • Didn't get a workout in yet today, but possibly later if I have time.  Its been a long couple of days.

    B: 3/4 cup honey nut cheerios (2); 1/2 cup skim milk (1)

  • I too, saw a bad picture of me today, taken this past weekend.  The weight always shows up in my face first! Oh well, just motivation. No real exercise today, didn't even get to walk the dog! I wasted all my points at lunch because I misread the nutrition facts on the southwest sauce at Subway, dang it.  Better luck tomorrow
