Texas-Dallas and Ft. Worth

Anyone with an experience with Level Two Events???

Hi ladies!

So I live in Chicago, but getting married in Dallas. I can't explain how frustrating it is to plan this far away! I booked Level Two Events and I haven't even seen it, my next trip to Dallas is at the first of May so lets hope I like it. I was hoping some of you girls have maybe been there, heard about it, etc.

Hmmm, no, but It looks like an area of town that is a little hard to get to called the West End.  It is also pretty crowded on the weekend (although it's not as "happening" an area as it used to be).  Parking could be a problem so you might want to inquire about that.

Here are a few reviews I found--a little mixed.  Don't know if this guy Jim is still there or not.  One reviewer says parking isn't a problem though.

I unfortunately had a phone conversation with Jim a few months ago...

He seriously spoke for over 6 minutes (I started timing) before I could finally get a word. What he said seemed like a good deal, but I just had a really hard time believing that it would actually end up that cheap. Plus, I wasn't sure I could deal with him without going insane...

My experiences with Jim are similar- not being able to get a word in. He has a lot of experience, which I like since I am not there. I have only put the deposit down and I don't know how much everything is going to be in the end. We haven't talked about food, drinks, etc so I hope I don't get taken for a ride!

I talked to this guy and he was an ass. He told me that he was going to call me and schedule and appointment, then didnt call me at all. the next week I called him to find out what was up, then he said he was out of town. I didn't care how cheap this dude was bc from his personality, he wil never be wrong, and he is the expert and we should do whatever he wants. not worth it the headache.

i guess i shouldn't say bad things without an alternative. I have no idea what your budget is, but if you are flexible check out la cima club in las colinas (irving). It is right outside dallas, close to the airport, and it has a great "lake" where you guys can exit via gondola. You also may like Fairy Tale Manor because they are all inclusive (except for food flowers and dJ) but everything else that it comes with can be a big stress reliever. I live in Addison (basically north dallas) and its about 20 minutes north from my house.

    Hope this helps :0)
