I am significantly overweight, I have been my entire life. Struggling with weight as a teen you're constantly told to learn to love your body as it is... so you accept, accept, accept and then BOOM all of a sudden you're larger then you ever thought you would let yourself become. I don't want to make anymore stupid excuses but... I do have several challenges in front of me and am hoping your suggestions will help me make better choices.
Time: I live a very sedentary life. My average day is wake up at 7, work from 9am - 7pm, lunch at 2, get home around 8:30, eat dinner at around 9-9:30, TV, then bed at around 10:30. I know I need to start exercising. My question, does when you work out effect your results? Does it make more sense to wake up earlier or do it after dinner?
Exercises: Being large I have joint health problems, so running and jogging are out of the question for now. I am borrowing an elliptical from a friend but I know just doing one thing isn't enough. I hold most of my excess in the middle so there are a lot of exercises I can't properly do because my own body gets in the way (I hope you can understand that). Can you make any suggestions?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Or if you know any resources that deal with this kinda thing I would be forever grateful.
