If you designed/are designing your own escort cards...

Did you use a program other than Word?

Trying to figure out how to make the tent-style cards and incorporate the elements-as-table-numbers we were going for, kind of like this:

We are also using Photoshop.  Are you printing them yourself or using something like VP?

Not a clue, yet.  Trying to figure out the best/least expensive way to do them.

Those are cute! The only way I can think of to make them easily is to print them on those Avery sheets of business cards and gluing them onto tented escort cards. Otherwise I'd think you'd have to figure out how to format them all onto one large sheet of paper in word and then cut them all out.
I'd think it'd be really cute though if you left them as business cards and attached them to a big board in alphabetical order, but arranged in the shape of the table of elements.

Office stores sell perforated tent cards that you can print on. That's what I bought. And I used MS Publisher to design them, because the template they provided wouldn't line up...

I bought linen paper tent cards from a specialty site, but these might be better if you don't care about texture:

Oh, yay.  =)  We have MS Publisher on the computers at school, so I might look into that.

    I love those!

Doesn't Joanne's, Hobby Lobby, Michaels make tented escort cards you can print on?  I may be mistaken but I swore I saw some @ Joanne's & they always have coupons!

I think the best, most cost effective thing to do (it's what we are doing) would be to download a free 30-day trial of Adobe Illustrator, get the exact dimensions for the folded business card on vista print, design the cards to your liking, export the Illustrator file to JPEG, and upload to VP.  That's what we're doing and then we are going to print our guest's names on small clear address labels or have someone hand write them.

The best part of this idea is you can then also get the dimensions of the VP postcard and design your table #s with the same look of the escort cards...VP has 100 free postcards quite often! :)

PM me if you want more info or detailed instructions.  I used Illustrator to design our STDs, Escort Cards, Table #s, PhotoBooth Info card, and OOT cards (to go in our OOT bags)...
