Re: Try this for breakfast!!

  • OMG - I had one a while ago, can't remember what flavor, but I thought it was horrible!! Maybe I should try again.
  • hahaha!!! that sucks.... lol

the deep chocolate was really good!

I kept it frozen... then put it in the microwave for 35 seconds & it was warm and yummy!

  • There's a lot of sugar in that for a little muffin top.

  • okay..... then it's for the weight watchers crew only then. . . . . .

  • I don't think 11 grams of sugar is much at all, especially given the other stats. 1 poptart has about 16 grams of sugar, a lot more fat, and barely any fiber or protein. I think I need to give these a try!
    TEST
  • glad someone isn't being negative about it :)

Yes, try them!! If you like chocolate.... try the deep chocolate! LOVE!

  • I have tried the deep choclate and they are quite good!  The other flavor I have tried was not good at all...can't think of that flavor off the top of my head, though.

  • I've tried them and they're tasty, I just got tired of them (I'm not that big of chocolate person to begin with).  I agree that they are a good chocolate fix if it's something that you really like even if it's not exactly a "health food".

  • I agree with PP, that's a lot sugar.  I personally try not to eat anything that has more than 7-9 grams of sugar (except with real fruit).  Also, what is the ingredient list like?  A lot of processed chemicals/persatives/ingredients?

  • if you like to see the WHOLE ingredient list....you'll have to look on the actual package, as I'm not going to type it all out.

But I know from what I remember, well this is all i can remember, is:  soy, whole wheat, cocoa... obviously more things as well!

If you're not interested in the item I posted about, you don't need to respond... i was just putting it out there.

  • There are other flavors that are delish and have less sugar as well, if that's something you're watching.  I had the banana nut flavor today and it only had 7 grams of sugar I believe.  Wahoo!  (Chocolate sounds way better though!)
  • I wasn't trying to act sensitive... I was excited to tell people about it, I didn't think someone would respond saying "there's too much sugar in it"

    that's all....

I'm going to try the banana nut next time! I might have to order them offline though, because they are more affordable that way! : )
