Wedding Cruise with Carnival out of Galveston

Looking for tips, tricks, hints about taking a wedding cruise with Carnival Cruise Line out of Galvestion. We currently planning on getting married on the ship at the Galvestion port in April 2011 before we depart for a 7 day cruise to Jamaica/Grand Cayman/Mexico. If you have experience planning a wedding package with Carnival, please let me know about your experiences. I'm looking for things that the Carnival wedding reps may be forgetting to tell us.

Not much help really about the wedding part of the cruise but we are taking that same cruise ship for our HM in April. What week are you going?

We took that cruise for our honeymoon 2 weeks ago! It was wonderful. One thing we noticed is that Carnival lets brides and the wedding party board the boat before any onther guests do! That's all I've got!

I have taken that same cruise 7 years in a row, I didnt have a wedding on there but I have seen several on the ship and one in galveston before the ship left the port. I love cruises . You can look up packages on carnival website for weddings- they are great price for weddings goes.
