I'm sorry, but I feel like bragging a little.
I ran a 5K on Saturday that I was stressing about a little for no real reason. I ran it a couple years ago and managed to finish third overall woman, which was nice, but I guess I felt like I had a lot to live up to?
This year the weather was pretty awful (snow, wind, temps in the mid-20s F) and my time was about 5 seconds per mile slower than I wanted it to be, but I was the second overall woman. Even though I was a little slower than I had hoped, I'm totally OK with blaming it on the weather, so I think my time goals are totally in reach, especially once the weather gets warmer. I'm looking forward to racing season this year!
