Getting in Shape

Motivation over the weekend...

Sooooo, I got some unexpected motivation over the weekend. Long story short, some jerk decided to pick a fight with me and my friends at a bar on Friday night. The final straw was when he decided to call me fat. Needless to say, we managed to get this a-hole kicked out of the bar. And, just a sidenote, he should've looked in the mirror before calling me fat.

Now, I'm slightly overweight but have been making good progress since the beginning of the year. Of course, I was upset and my feelings were hurt, but I channeled my angry energy into my workout on Saturday. With the whole "I'll show you" attitude, I had probably the best workout ever - motivating run on the treadmill and a pilates class. I felt SO good after that workout.

Just wanted to share to show that you can totally take negative energy and make it positive. I've been able to move past the weekend and am so focused on my upcoming wedding and just making better lifestyle changes. Smile
