Getting in Shape

For the first time in 4 years

I ran.

That may not be huge for some people but for me this is incredible. Shortly after I graduated hs I was in great shape running 3-4 miles 5x a week. As soon as I got to college I stopped.

The last 3 months I've been doing zumba spin and weight training but still have been avoiding running cuz it scares me. Today I went to go for a walk and it was SO cold so I decided I'd run to stay warm. Turns out I'm not in as bad of shape as I thought. 1.5 miles later without stopping I almost was in tears I am so proud of myself.

No more, "I'm too fat/too out of shape" to run. I CAN do it, my body just showed me :)
