Getting in Shape

iphone app

my FH and I have started using the iphone app "Lose it!" last week and it is doing wonders!! it tracks all the food you eat and tells you how many calories you are allowed each day to reach your weight loss goals. I have lost 5 pounds now and my FH has almost lost 10!! we are eating healthy healthy healthy, but just cutting down on everything, including snacks of course. 

it has actually also brought us closer together. we talk everyday about what we eat and plan out our meals together. we have to work together to help each other stay under our daily budget. 

just wanted to let everyone know about it!! :)

  • Thanks for sharing! I've used the app to check calories throughout the day but never really to track anything, although I probably should. :) Good luck on your journey and I'm happy you two are starting to cook meals together!
  • I posted about this last week.

    I really like how the app makes me stop and think about what I am about to eat. It isn't at all restricting - I have had ice cream, a burger, small piece of co-workers bday cake, etc but have still lost 4lbs. I need to drag my butt back into the gym and it will really get grooving. I used it last year but unfortunately I was finishing my undergrad and fell off the wagon...hard.
