100 Pushup Challenge Accountability Thread

How is everyone doing?  I just finished W5, D1.  After today my schedule changes from 5 sets to 8 sets.  In the beginning I was having some problems with my back but I am doing a lot better now.  How is everyone else doing?  I think mmaxwell is done all 6 weeks.  Anyone else?  Anyone on week 6?  Good luck ladies!

  • I should be on week 6 but I didn't do well at all on the exhaustion test so I have to repeat week 5. I'm on day 1 today.

  • mmaxwell - You might have better success if you work your way up to 70 or 80 and then rest for several days before trying 100.  I remember reading that you should go light on anything that might use upper body strength for several days before trying the 100. 

    cac - I'm with you.  I'll probably need to do weeks 5 and 6 a few times!

  • I was late to the game, so I'm only on week two, but so far so good! I'm already feeling much stronger, and even if I don't see much of a change in my arms, it feels so good that I'm going to keep doing it anyway. Great way to work off wedding planning frustration!
