Thermometer Jeans

I really like this as an indication of how your body is changing over just the number on the scale.  Check out this post to see what I'm talking about.

I haven't gotten my thermometer jeans yet, but I think they'll be a size 8.

I'm sorry but Kim Kardashian is not a 4 and JLo is not a 4 or 6.  Those asses do not fit into those jeans!

I am going to try that because I get so discouraged with the scale and end up giving up.  Maybe a new approach will be good

Love this idea!
 Im going to start just one size smaller to get myself started (and because it means I dont have to go buy a pair of jeans right now as I have a brand new smaller pair sitting in my closet)

ha this reminds me of the episode of Sex and the City when Miranda found out she fint into her skinny jeans again!  to start...I have jeans that I would like to fit "better"

That is a good idea ... Maybe I'll go on downstairs and see if I can't located a size 14 pair of jeans then maybe I'll try a size 10-12? My wedding's still over a year away ...

About the celebrities, it's highly possible that they are those listed sizes.  I've seen Kim Kardashian personally and she is TINY in real life.  Really, any celeb I've ever seen has always been infinitely smaller and shorter in person.  The camera really does add some pounds.  Plus, when you see a curvier celeb, they are usually standing next to one of the anorexic ones that makes them look bigger (like Kim standing next to Paris Hilton).

That's what my mom has always told me= except with a dress. Find a killer dress a size or two smaller and work until til you fit into it perfectly, then treat yourself to a pampering day followed by a night on the town in that dress.
