Ok...so I have to vent here for a second....
I love the people I work with, I really do. They're always there for me, incredibly supportive of others, and truly want the best for us and our working environment. But I work with a peanut gallery--everyone's always "watching" what others eat/do/wear/etc. I am SO done with people watching what I eat!!!
I got this just this morning:
"Why do you only eat oatmeal? Isn't that boring?" (reply: "I don't always eat it. I eat other stuff, you just see me heating up the stuff every few days at the microwave, that's all".)
"You're already skinny, eat a freaking cheeseburger!" (reply: "I love cheeseburgers, and I could live on them I would, no worries there")
"Why do you work out so much? You're going to get thick and bulky!" ("really? who told you that?")
AND MY FAVORITE TWO:
"Why do you eat so healthy?" (I literally snapped and said "do you go up to peope and ask why they're eating crap?" Conversation over...but she has said it for about two weeks).
"Why do you eat so slowly? Doesn't it take you forever to finish a meal?" ("Yes, but at least I don't end up with gas and hiccups and feeling hungry later....why do you bolt your food?")
Anyone else have pet peeves?
