Getting in Shape

A Few Things...

I am still 9 months out from the big day, but really want to work on toning up! I run several times a week, and recently started doing "30 day shred" to prime myself for P90X or Insanity since I have heard they are both really hard!

Does anyone know which one would be better for loosing a couple of pounds, and toning? Also is the 30 day shred a good start or should I just move right into the others?

  • i did the 30 day shred for about a week and then realized i might be doing too much exercize (with running for 30 min every other day and cycling fast for about 60 min a day...) even with all that that video kicked my butt! I plan on doing it once I can actually run for 30 min without stopping and scaling back on cycling and what not. It will kick your butt and after doing research seems fantastic! Hope any of this helps! I can't wait to start it again!
  • im doing P90X now, before I had been lifting weights and bike riding/walking. Im just finishing up phase 1 and I defintely see more definition in my arms and even my legs(i had definition there even before from years of soccer) honestly it was not as diffivult as I had been expecting!
