So I've begun to work out and eat healthier with the intention of losing ~1 pound per week (I have two years to lose about 40 pounds and keep it off). I have an app on my phone to track calories and exercise, and I'm actually going over by 300-500 on my calorie budget each day, but somehow I've dropped over three pounds in the past week. I've heard that losing more than two pounds a week can be unhealthy, and I know that three pounds is probably not that big a deal, but I wonder if weight keeps falling off like this whether I should increase my caloric intake a bit. Does anyone here know what the best way is to make sure my rate of weight loss is healthy?
