Hey ladies! I read the "before posting" thing so I don't think I saw any other new members from today. Just real quick, I'm Liz and my FI and I have been together for almost 6 years and got engaged last May. After some ups and downs and personal dramas we set a date for our wedding...for this May! LOL...May 15,2011 to be excat.
Its a little nerve wracking. I kept saying oh I'll have all this time to plan and lose weight and everything..and now its 65 days away!
I guess my biggest struggle is motivation...although you would think getting married and wanting to end up in a bikini on the beach for HM would be enough motivation.
I'm a full time nursing student and free time is a luxury. When I get home at the end of the day or have a rare day off, I'm so busy trying to work on care plans and papers or I'm just plain exhusted its really hard for me to find the time to work out, even if I know it only has to be 30 mins.
I guess what I'm looking for is where to start for such a short time span? I dont need to lose a ton of weight...10-15 pounds would be ideal and I need to tone up for sure. I was always in shape because I danced for 15 years, but my body has definately lost its dancer ways.
Just looking for some motivation as the FI is not much help, he works in law enforcement and is constantly running at work, and generally works out before he comes home. I guess getting a kick in the butt from total strangers would help
