Yay Friday!  My H and I are meeting up with two Knot/Nest/real life friends and their husbands tonight for dinner, so I'm excited!

B: 2 whole wheat english muffins w/ margarine an natural PB
S: triple venti nonfat latte
L: TBD
S: string cheese
D: Japanese food!

E: walking around, nothing strenuous.

  • Good morning!  Sunday is my shower...yay!!!!!!!!  going for a pedi tonight with a friend to prepare.

    B- 2 eggs, light wheat english muffin, 1 slice cheese, coffee
    S- yogurt with grapenuts
    L- pb and j
    D- going out with friends...most likely a grilled chicken salad

  • Super exciting weekend with all kinds of friends in town and (barring rain) engagement photos on Sunday! Diet is easy enough but I'm not sure when I'll fit in some workouts.
    B: Oatmeal w/blueberries, coffee & soy milk
    S: prunes & carrots
    L: no yolks w/ turkey meat sauce
    D: TBD, I'm hosting a 'learning to cook' dinner for my culinary-challenged friends. Supposed to be roasted chicken & potatoes. If that fails, I'll whip up something else.

  • I have been eating everything in the kitchen lately! I'm so hungry.

    s-I think I'm going to get some trail mix
    l-chobani, reduced fat cape cod 100 cal packs (I've also been craving sweet/salty)
    d- grilled sweet potato "fries" steak tips with salsa verde.

    e-30-40 minutes on the elliptical. If I have enough time abs/legs

  • Help! A co-worked bought in 6 (!) pastries and they are sitting on the back table looking at me! I also need to mention that only 4 people work in the office. 4 divided by 6....LOL!... I've been here 45min and I haven't touched them yet. Yikes...

    S - hard boiled egg
    B - 2 flax waffles with natural PB and banana
    S - yogurt - if needed
    L - green salad and protein shake
    S - Apple and soyjoy (if needed)
    D - not sure... Fiance mentioned something about going out to dinner today.

    E - 50 minutes of brisk walking this AM and I have a bunch of barn work to do tonight!

    Also! Squeezed in a 40 min walk last night between thunder storms yay!

    E: ?? Plyometrics maybe, but I don't want to be sore for my 4 mile run tomorrow. Hmmm. Maybe a kickboxing dvd and Ab Ripper??

  • I'm so glad it's friday.  I've had a very long week.  Tonight is my daughters dance recital.  H is off all weekend and I have 4 extra kids tomorrow plus my 3.  We should have a good day I'm taking them to my aunt's pool.

    l-spinach salad, leftover turkey meatloaf
    s-tomato
    d-turkey burgers, spinach salad
    e-swimming

    b: 3/4 c. low fat granola w/ a few tables spoons no-fat vanilla yogurt mixed in
    l: wheat bagel w lite garlic herb cream cheese
    d: homemade pizza night!  my pizza will be thin crust spinach, tomato, and feta
    (FI's is deep dish w lots of meat and cheese lol)

    10 more pounds to go!!!!!

  • happy friday!  sounds like there are some fun things going on in knotland this weekend!

    i finally had a good day eating-wise yesterday, and i feel great today.  great enough to turn down the burger place my husband wants to eat at tonight (normally i can't resist that place).

    b - kashi cereal, skim, ice tea
    l - chicken sandwich, veggies
    s - greek yogurt, peanut butter crackers if i'm still hungry
    d - tbd.  hopefully i can talk the husband into going somewhere with healthy options.
    s - something chocolate.

    e - L1&2 of 30DS.  maybe a walk during lunch (it's a beautiful day here in DC)
  • This week has been SO long. I am so looking forward to planning out my weekend.

    B - eggwhite sandwich w/ spinach, tomato and mustard. Coffee with ff creamer and protein powder
    L - indian meal with rice
    S - greek yogurt with berries and granola
    D - leaning towards whole wheat pasta with lemon, goat cheese, artichoke hearts and pinenuts

    E - 5k friday! Running and then hopefully 100 squats mixed in with crunches/ab something or other.

  • Tons of wedding errands to do on my day off today. Exactly 4 weeks till the big day (we get married on a Friday)!

    b- 1/2 think thin protein bar
    s- small all-fruit smoothie at jamba juice
    l-  probably salad bar from whole foods while I am out and about
    d- "pizza potatoes"- baked potatoes with sauteed zuchinni, yellow squash, mushrooms, and spinach on top, with a little marinara and parmesan. Sounds weird but they are good!

    e- 1 horu circuit class, plus walking around town
