LoseIt! App

I used this before and it worked great before I fell off the wagon.

I just re-installed it and am going to try like heck to stick with it. I like that it holds me accountable for my food and gives me info on all the nutrients I am taking in while also tracking my exercise. I also like knowing that if I workout for an hour I can have that treat without screwing everything up.

  • I recently started using the Loseit! app and I heart it too!! It makes me feel good when I work out because I know I can afford a glass of wine or a treat too. Plus I really do feel held accountable for what I'm putting in my mouth!

  • You can do it! I know it's hard to keep it up, and that sometimes you need that extra little push.  I've been using myfitnesspal.com to do the same thing for the last week and I feel great!
     It does the same thing, like keeping track of calorie intake and excersising gives you a bit of wiggle room to be a little naughty every once in a while.  The thing I like about myfitnesspal.com is that I can log on through my computer as well as through my iPhone, and the two technologies will stay up to date.  So if I'm not at home, I can log into my app and find the calorie count before I order something while out or keep track honestly.
     My biggest problem is trying to cheat the system :S  I know I should keep track of something... but I don't want to admit it to myself that I've been bad.  Even though I know, logically, that the only person I'm cheating is myself...
    Anyway, way to go! The first step is making the decision to do something about it!  Now keep it up!!

  • It really makes me think about my food choices. I wanted a sandwich, but I knew I couldn't put as much cheese on it as I like without skyrocketing my cals. Plus, I already had cheese today.

    The first time I used it I screwed up the first day or two and used up my allowance too early in the day. Now I look forward to a banana or a yogurt to keep my metabolism chugging along.

    I don't have a set schedule so trying to do WW meetings wouldn't work out. Is there any way we can do a LoseIt or FitnessPal accountability on here like the WW girls do?
