Getting in Shape

10K tomorrow

I am doing my first 10K race tomorrow.  I have done 5K races before. I have been training pretty well.  Any advice from anyone who has done a race like this before?

  • Try to get as much sleep as you can. However the sleep that really matters the most is the sleep you get two days before the race. Make sure you eat before the race! It's important to have something in your tummy. If you can, wake up at least three hours before the race. It helps you be totally awake and ready to go for the race. I ran in college and I these tips really helped me.
