Memorial Day BBQs??

So how did everyone do after this weekened's holiday? I definitely went off the wagon on Sunday with a BBQ and a birthday...just trying to watch it for these final weeks now!!

  • um. not to swell, really... i foolishly chose to not eat when the food was served at both parties (sunday and yesterday) because it was so hot at the time - i thought i'd throw up if i did eat, even though i knew better than to let so many hours pass between meals. and of course, i ended up eating a cupcake and a two chocolate-covered oreos later sunday night when the sun went down and the good food was picked over, and last night i ate two iced lemon cookies (pretty big) in the evening.

    note to self: fruit is cool, why didn't i eat fruit? *shakes head*

  • I did ok at the BBQ I went to yesterday...had some grilled chicken breast with bbq sauce, grilled pineapple, and corn on the cob with salt and pepper (no butter).

    I did have a piece of the blueberry pie that I made and brought...but in the grand scheme of desserts, it's not as bad as other things (and was full of fresh fruit).
  • I did ok, I also lost 3 pounds when I was out of the country.
    The drinking is what did it in for me.
    I had a lobster roll with minimal mayo, a few fries, and then 3 beers.

    For dinner, I had salad, grilled chicken and corn, another beer. Small black raspberry and oreo cookie ice cream.

  • i had like 29 margaritas.... so, not so well! but i made it to the gym this morning at 5:30 nice and hung over! i thought i was gonna vom halfway through my workout, but by the end i felt better!

  • I did great except one McD's french frie relapse. I picked up a small order on my way home from behaving REALLY well at a friend's house. The resulting tummy troubles will prevent me from ever eating those again in the middle of a really clean eating program! YIKES.

    I also went to IKEA yesterday and managed to eat my chicken and grapefruit instead of the awesome meatballs, which I really wanted. I'm pretty proud of myself for that.
  • Ugggg I did awful, in fact I'm postponing my WW weigh-in until Friday....lol I was in a wedding at a winery, which I didn't eat horribly, but the wine! Then I just felt like the weekend was kind of a waste and I proceeded to eat cake that I stupidly made. BUT I will just have to stick to my points this week :) Oh wait I have a bridal shower and bachelorette party this weekend---grrrrrr!
  • I actually did really well this weekend. I found out that if I eat a little bit of everything, overall I eat less than if I just eat a few things. I skipped cake and had a generous portion of fruit salad instead, and brought a cold lemony snap pea and asparagus salad since my ILs never have vegetables. FI and I were the only ones who ate it, but oh well. Tonight I'm way off track. We're eating in a few minutes since we're both starving, but FBIL will be home tonight for leave and we're celebrating with some pizza and wine. I also made some amazing kahlua brownies with kahlua buttermilk icing, since he's probably been deprived of sweets.
