Hello everyone,
I've been on other parts of the knot boards before, but I've basically just started my wedding planning and wanted to introduce myself here!
I'm getting married on 10/08/11 in Key West and I'm so excited! My FI and I live together in the college town where we got together and this has become somewhat of a problem for getting in shape. We've been together for 3 years and over that time my FI has gained some weight and as a consequence has lost a lot of self-confidence and is much less social than when we met. I feel partially responsible because the two of us live together and easily influence each other's decisions to eat out/eat badly/not exercise.
I on the other hand have not gained too much weight since we got together, but my main problem is I feel out of shape. Even though I am not overweight, I could be thinner, but more importantly, more fit. I HATE running because it makes me weeze and gasp so this is something I want to conquer. Other than that I also want to cut out the uneccesarry calories from eating out that are bad for us both. My biggest goal by far, though, is to get my FI interested in exercising with me, so he has the confidence to continue doing so our whole lives. Looking forward to meeting all of you and getting/giving inspiration towards our short and long term goals!!
