okay you guys, I just read the advice for the Marathon, AFTER I signed up for a 5k that is a month before my wedding, now I know 5k is NOTHING like a Marathon, and I thought that and using Hal Higdons 10k training would be a good way to shed the last 10lbs for the wedding, is this false? In my mind, running 3-5 miles is just a good workout, what do you guys think?
