  • Hello Ladies-
       Just want to introduce myself.  I'm new to this board (well sort of).  A year and a half ago I was a regular on this board and lost 25 pounds before my wedding.  Since then, I've gotten way too lazy and gained 20 pounds back.  I'm tired of doing this to myself and I want to get back on track.  I found this board to be extremely helpful the last time, so I'm back.  Hope you don't mind if I join in.

    B: WW yogurt (1), fiber one bar (2)
    L: meeting a friend for lunch today.... not sure where we are going yet.  Hopefully something healthy!
    D: Oriental salad: spinach/romaine (0), mandarin oranges (1), pineapple (.5), honey roasted peanuts (2), onion, cucumber, carrots (0), grilled chicken (2), orange/ginger dressing (2)
    S: string cheese (2)

    E: 30 minute video (2); walk with hubby later (2)

  • Morning!  I hate that it's Monday but at least the weather is cooler and much less humid.  I wish I could be outside today!

    I lost 1 lb at my WI this week. Woo hoo! That makes 4 lbs lost since the wedding. :)

    I thought it was a little heavy on the nutmeg.  Also, I used Butternut Squash puree instead of pumpkin (apparently there's been a national pumpkin shortage for quite some time and I just never knew about it).  I think I"m going to try leaving out the nutmeg and adding vanilla and chocolate chips to the next batch.

  • Oh yeah. I heard about the pumpkin shortage from hungrygirl.com. The flooding knocked out over half of the pumpkin crop for Libby's. Thanks for the recipe!
