Getting in Shape

I’ve been semi-active but this year decided to be more active than usual. I was initially looking to lose a few inches but after 2.5 months I have gained a lot of muscle. I guess this is a good thing. I have not lost any weight but can safely assume that I have less body fat. I can see my body toning up. My tops are slightly looser but around my waist and hips are still the same. I have a pretty regular healthy food routine, very little sodium intake, fresh foods- eat every few hours…I work out about 4-5 times a week- including running (3-6 miles), resistant training, pilates, and spin class. I really want to slim down my waist/hip area and it seems like it is the last thing to go…if it ever decides to vacate. Does anyone have a similar problem? How or what did you do to?
