**Mariah and Juliebug**

Totally unrelated, but I'm too lazy to post twice :)

Mariah -- sorry to hear about your parents! One of my friends had parents divorce when she was an adult, and she said the best thing she did was go talk to a therapist herself. So don't feel bad about ranting to us or seeing someone if you need to! Lots of T&Ps headed your way :)

Juliebug -- your post about the City of Corinth cracks me up. My inlaws live in Hickory Creek and my FIL is always ranting about Corinth. Are they tearing your street up for the new railroad tracks? We had to drive like a mile out of the way to get to my IL's house while their main street was blocked. Hope they fix it soon!

They've almost finished with the railroad stuff so you can now get to Angelina's and Don Camilio's without having to drive in the complete opposite direction.  However, we live on the other side of I-35 from all that and the city is tearing up S. Corinth St. (it goes right past the police station).  When I say torn up, I mean the road is pretty much gone and you're driving on rocks, dirt and some rebar that sticks up out of the ground.  Well, now they've started taking up part of Meadow Oaks which is the other quick way back to the interstate.  If they start working in earnest there then I have to start going back in the opposite direction to Swisher.  Ugh.

I completely understand about being too lazy to post something.  :-)  How goes the job hunt?

Yikes, that is a real mess. Hopefully it doesn't stay that bad for long. Although now I want Don Camillos. Yum.

I'm actually back at the expo company I was working for last fall (go figure). It's still temporary, but it's better than going-out-of-business Swoozies!

Thank you, Amanda.  I'm still not sure how to feel...but the fact that my dad told me how he was feeling and what he was going to do made me feel like he sees me as an adult (which is more than I can say about my mom these days).  I may seek out some form of counseling.  I honestly feel like I need it.

Julie -- me too! And I used to get a good discount. Not good enough though, because I only bought like 1 thing that wasn't on clearance.

Mariah-- I'm glad your dad is at least treating you like an adult. There's nothing wrong with talking to someone about it. It's good to get all those feelings out there!

Mariah--do it! My mom is one and she is always dumbfounded at the amount of pain, guilt (haha, and sometimes just dumb ideas) people carry around. It's good to have an impartial person to talk to
