My wedding went so amazingly well. Very few surprises and all reviews are pretty much good....
Ceremony - Royal Lane Baptist - A+ : Beautiful church! Absolutely stunning. The wedding coordinator assigned to you is great, they were there at the ceremony and directed everyone.
Reception - Special Day Events/Dallas Arts Center Ballroom - A+ : Shari at Special Day Events was absolutely wonderful. She coordinated so much for me and really makes things easy on the bride. The ballroom is beautiful. They provide furniture and plenty of decor and silverware and linens that you can use if you choose.
Wedding Day Photography - Point of View by Kelly Trimble - A+ : Such a wonderful photographer and very very reasonably priced. She captured all the special moments beautifully and nabbed us during dinner at the reception to take a few pics at the streets of downtown and got some wonderful shots. The pics say it all....
Epics/Bridals - Addison June Photography - A+ : Also a wonderful photographer. She has since changed her focus to family photography and is opening a baby boutique in downtown denton. I will definitely be calling her in the future.
Wedding gown - Lulu's - A : I knew what dress I wanted before I arrived. I tried it on as well as a few others to be sure. Ordered it (got a discount because they were having a trunk show that weekend). It came in on time and it fit great.
Flowers - May Flowers and Gifts - A+ : Kevin duplicated exactly what I described to her and had envisioned in my mind for what I wanted. We did minimal flowers (just bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces) but they were absolutely beautiful and very reasonably priced.
Cake - Cake Carousel - A : Loved them from the day I met them. Not pushy like many vendors can be. Had beautiful cakes. I saw one I fell in love with and they duplicated it for me. Tasted great too.
Catering - Guess Who's Coming to Dinner - A+ : Great tasting food, great selection, great pricing, great setup, great staff. Everything was great.
DJ - Duron Duron DJ Services - A+ : Rudy was great. He's a great guy and has a passion for what he does. He played everything we had mention we wanted to hear. Did just enough MCing (didn't talk too much or too little).
Alterations - Becky Fowler - A+ : Duh...is there anything I need to say here? We all know how amazing and sweet she is. Did a wonderful job on my alterations.
Hair/Makeup - Kristie Luv Style - A :Kristie did my hair and make-up as well as most of my bridesmaids hair. She showed up on time, did a great job. We were all very pleased with our hair and my make-up. She also showed up with eyelash extensions which some of the girls took advantage of and they looked great.
Chairs - TLC - A- : Although the reception hall had chairs for us, we decided to rent white garden chairs. Overall we were pleased with the chairs except we found some were a little dirty. We had to clean some of them off as we set them up. This wasn't too much of an issue for us since we were setting them up anyway, but still would have rather clean chairs.
Linens - Yoli - A : The sashes we rented from Yoli ended up great. We did have a small mishap, but it was understandable. Yoli had a death in the family and to rush out of town. There was a mixup with the sashes and I received the wrong material the day before the wedding. However, Yoli took care of everything and had one of her vendors get the correct material for us in time and everything turned out fine.
