Thursday Accountability

I like Thursdays.  They're usually good days.  One of my girlfriends is coming down tonight.  She recently moved over 5 hours away, so it'll be really nice to see her.

B: 2 w/w english muffins w/ PB, banana, coffee w/ skim milk
S: apple and string cheese
L: baby spinach and grilled chicken in w/w WW wraps
S: red pepper and hummus
D: BBQ'd lamb kebabs (they're marinating now, I'm excited), Greek salad and pitas.

E: rest day.

  • So excited - went to the grocery store last night and they finally had the new laughing cow wedges. I can't wait to have buffalo chicken dip!!! (yes I'm a dork but I've been craving it)

    B - 1/3 c. egg white on multigrain english muffin w/ 2 slices ham & LC wedge
    S - peach
    L - 1/2 salad w/ turkey, corn, black beans and some other veggies I threw in
    S - baby carrots w/ 1 tbsp 1/3 LF mixed veggie cream cheese
    D - spinach lasagne rolls w/ 1 c. peach green tea
    S - Vita Top muffin top

    E - 10 min HIIT on elliptical/25 min ellip w/ arm weights, abs, 30 DS

  • Morning! I need to get to the gym tonight...I finally have socks again!

    l-chobani, strawberries
    d-lasagna and salad
    s-peach

    e-60 minutes elliptical and then arms/abs

    B: 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds, nectarine, yoghurt
    L: Salad with chickpeas, red peppers, onion and a small scoop potato salad
        chicken soup
    S: Guy at work's birthday. So chocolate cake = snack. But a small slice at least...
    D: J's making duck breast... Not exactly lean, but it's a treat. With brussels sprouts

  • Marina, your meals sound really yummy.  I always forget that I love chickpeas in salad.  And duck breast? Yummers.

    I'm so lucky with the place I work because we have a subsidised cafeteria - my paycheck is deducted $50 a month for a great salad bar, breads (rye, white, whole wheat and wasa crispbreads), deli bar with turkey breast, meats, smoked salmon and cheese etc, and a hot meal (usually something I'd try to avoid like cheesy pasta bake, but today it was a brothy chicken soup). 

    It makes it so much easier to have a healthy, filling lunch.  Though, it's a bit dangerous on lasagna day. :)

    (ps. your lamb kebabs sound awesome!)

    S- 100 cal pretzels
    L- Chicken Tortilla soup, swiss cheese pita
    S- Greek yogurt
    D- no clue yet (this is dangerous!)

    E- 1 hour Zumba class

    S: edamame, string beans, nectarine
    D: string bean salad with chicken
