Running buddies: parting gifts

My best friend and running/hiking partner left today to accept her dream job in Milwakee. Tear!
However, she left me with an amazing gift and promise. In a "love you...I'll be back" gift, she had placed a veil, a few cans with some strings attached (i'm supposed to attach these to my running shorts), and a shirt that read "just a few hours to go!" - all wIth the promise that we would run our favorite loop together the morning of my wedding...
Nothing like an amazing woman/friend to inspire movement.
Can't wait!

  • That's awesome!  I sure home that us Milwaukeeans treat her well!  It's a great place to visit during the summer if you can afford the time and expense-you should try to go see her.
