My wedding is in 24 days. I bought my dress last November and of course, got a little too excited, and had it altered back in May when I was 131. I sort of veered away from my diet in July and gained about 15 lbs. I am now back down to about 135 and need to lose these last 5. My dress fits perfectly but everywhere but the torso, where it will not zip up. My options are to lose the weight or have a corset back put in the dress (which will ruin the back). I have to fly out of town for my wedding 2 weeks from Friday and the dress has to fit by then. Here's what I'm doing to drop the weight: Lowered my caloric intake to 1050 calories per day (as advised by WebMD), am burning at least 100 calories per day playing Dance Dance Revolution on difficult/expert, and restricting carbohydrate intake to less than 20 grams per day. I started this week before last and have lost 6.5 lbs. already. I tried on my dress today and I still need to lose about an inch to get it zipped. I would welcome any safe advice or suggestions on how to get this last little bit to go. Not interested in diet pills, water pills, or body wraps.
