30 day shred- before or after a run?

My moh and I like to do a 3 mile run in the mornings, but lately our schedules are crazy so we are having to settle for the evenings (way too hot midday). We've also been doing the 30 day shred with Jillian Michaels. Now, we've only done it once and were sore for like 3 days after. I noticed you girls are also using the 30 day shred in many of your routines. So for those of you that are familiar with it or even other videos- would you recommend doing the video after or before a run if we have to run in the evenings? I'm worried about being too sore to run if I do it before, or just not doing it at all if I do it after. What do you think?
