Hit one goal weight, now on to the next

Hey girls!  Hope everyone is having a good hump day.  I just want to announce my accomplishment because this board has really helped me stay on track.  I have made it below 145 lbs :)  I have been stuck at 145-147 for a few weeks and I finally fell below!  I know to not focus primarily on the scale and I don't, but this felt good!  I also have my kickboxing instructor take measurements every 6 weeks and we are scheduled for measurements next Thur :) 

Thank you so much girls for all your help, encouragement, stories, and community on this board!

  • I was one of the ones that did really good all week long and then on the weekend I would slip up a little and gain like 2 lbs back.  I did this every week.  FINALLY, I said enough is enough and I had a gift card to Victorias Secrets from my bachelorette party and I told myself if I DID NOT gain any weight from Friday to Monday morning then I could go ahead and use the gift card.  It worked....it was a good incentive.  :)  All weekend I thought of all the stuff I could buy monday morning if I did good!!
  • How many times a week do you do kickboxing? that sounds like a lot of fun!

  • Well, about 4 years ago when I was in the best shape of my life, I weighed 143# with a lot of muscle and a size 6.  I dont feel like I have near as much muscle right now, but I would still like to get down to 140#.  I couldn't imagine my body in the 130's....but maybe one day :)

    I do kickboxing 2 or 3 days per week.  It is VERY intense, but awesome!
