Back Fat

Ok so i am wearing a strapless dress that dips in the back and it doesn't look too bad but i still want to get rid of those rolls in the middle of my back, just under the rib area in the back. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this, i can't find anything. Preferably as simple, quick and easy as possible...maybe something quick that i can do before bed or before work, something since i am very busy and don't have time for a gym and the hard core equipment :-) Thanks for all the help i can get!

Re: Back Fat

  • The good news is those rolls are simply fat and you can burn fat by eating right, yes exercise is important, but you can track your calories and watch what you eat and the fat will eventually start to burn off.

The bad news is ther is no way to spot reduce that and only lose fat in your back, you'll lose the weight where your body wants to lose weight. Also it won't be quick or easy, if it were everyone would walk around with amazing super model bodies :)

  • I'm not sure if it was in the old thread but try the 100 pushups challenge (posted at the top of the GIS board). My back always feels nice and toned after my pushup days.

  • My personal trainer says the best way to get rid of back fat is first diet then second you need to do the row exercise.  You know where you pull the bar into your chest and squeeze your shoulder blades together.  You need to do three reps and do this exercise twice a week to see results.

  • awesome...thats easy enough :-) Thanks!

  • I take boxing class and spin.  I also kayak on the weekends.  But I find boxing for upperbody strength (narrows the waistline too) more effectively and faster than rowing.
