Getting in Shape

Finally Motivation!

Our date is set for October 8, 2011. I thought for sure setting the date would kick me into really losing this weight...not so much.

Then, my best friend (who happens to be getting married May 28, 2011) and I bought dresses in mid-January, so another big motivator, right? Wrong!

It's like I needed something more to tell me, "Hey you! You need to do this!"

So, my FH and I made a deal. He smokes, but what is weird is he only smokes socially and at work. We went on a vacay with my family last summer and he didn't smoke a single cigarette in almost 2 weeks! We came to the realization that my food addiction and his smoking addiction were very similar.

He is at 4 packs a week and I have 40 pounds to lose. For every 10 pounds I lose, he is going to cut out a pack. By the time I hit my goal, he will quit smoking.

What do you think? I just need some feedback/encouragement!

PS) I'm a little worried about my dress fitting if I really do lose 40 pounds. What do you think?
