I swear my life is getting crazier by the minute...i had a phone call from my friend's school yesterday asking me to come in for a interview for a 2nd grade teaching position....AHHHHHHHHH....this kind of stuff doesn't happen to me!!!! Regardless, I'm going to see what they may have to offer me.

  • Good luck with your interview Lisa!  I'm a teacher too.... this is a nutty time of year.  I'm trying to plan my meals for today, but it is a little tricky.  I've got registration from 12-7 and volleyball at 8:30, so I'm trying to pack a few snacks to carry me through the day.  Ugh!  Back-to-school time is tough!

    L: asian salad: romaine/spinach, mandarin oranges, pineapple, carrots, cucumber, onion, chicken, peanuts, orange-ginger dressing (7.5)

  • Morning!  Last night was a major fail.  I got home really late and the wheels just completely fell off the wagon.  I didn't feel like making the dinner I had planned because it would take so long to cook, so I ate M &Ms and pizza instead.  Why did that seem like a good plan?  Ugh.  Moving on.  It's a new day.

    B: breakfast cookies (3.5)
    L: Sweet potato hash- sweet potato (3) black beans (1) corn (1) onion and green pepper (0) 2.5 oz. white meat chicken (2.5) chipotle salsa sour cream (1)
    D: Probably the same as lunch (8.5)

    E: Had to go to work 1.5 hours early today, so maybe a walk tonight.  Definitely a bunch of house work.  Blech.

  • I did really well yesterday until my Iron Cupcake event. My dinner consitsted of 10 mini cupcakes and a glass of wine. Delicious, but probably not the best for me. I only had 11 points at the time too. New day.

  • I'm just running late in general today. My kitty woke me up at 2:30 this morning, so I had to banish her from our room for the night. Needless to say, I woke up late for my workout, so I could only do half. I'll do the whole thing all over again today.

    S - Slimfast (3) My boss - or my dad (same dude) had me do a Taco Bell run, complete sabotage!!! I willed everything in me not to eat it and had a slimfast instead. Thank god.

    D - I am thinking Tacos.... (12) mmmm (stupid Taco Bell!!!) oh well at least when I make them myself they not only taste better but I can control what goes in them.

  • Another first accountability post here.  I hope its okay to post this at the end of the day;I don't do as well when I am locked into a certain menu for the day.  That said, it is almost 10pm now and I am starving, but am out of points.  Only 10 hours till breakfast...
    B-Egg whites with veggies and turkey sausage (2) and coffee with creamer (1)
    S-Protein bar (4)
    L-2 slices whole wheat bread (4) 5 oz turkey (1)

    D-Teriyaki chicken and mashed potatoes (10 and there goes all my points)
