Love Handles???

I need help getting rid of my love handles any good workouts that would target that area????

  • You can't spot reduce unfortunately. You'll need to burn more calories than you take in in order to lose fat, and hopefully the love handles are the first place you'll lose it. What's your typical menu/workout routine look like?

  • I eat healthy and try to work out 2 or 3 times a week, but trying to do more. I'm tall and skinny but having problems with the love handles...
  • I agree that spot reduction won't happen.  Though usually weight around the midsection is due to a lack of cardio and 'core' toning.  Try swimming/biking/running when you can.  Also try targeting your obliques a little more.  My favorite is to get in a pushup position. hold it. lower to prop myself up on my elbows. hold that. then for about 20 reps, twist and dip my hip towards the ground (alternating sides).

    Most importantly, keep yourself hydrated with water (put a lemon or lime in it if your'e like me and hate plain water), and try to eat more fresh ingredients and less processed food.
