Starting tomorrow

I will be working out and eating better!!! Im trying not to make a big deal because if i do then i wont do it. I cant tell anyone lol or i will stop. So yea. Any advice or encouragment will help! Thanks & God bless!

  • Congratulations! My only tip is the tried and true- write down what you eat/drink and work out 3+ days a week. 

    I record what I eat and I also made a schedule for working out. I was getting in a rut, doing the same workout every day. I needed to change it up so now I write down my workouts 2 weeks at a time. Now I just look at my schedule and do what is written. Now I know I am mixing my workouts up, I'm not bored and I look forward to working out!
  • Welcome! Check out the "New Posters" sticky at the top. Make sure to find out how many calories you should be consuming & track your daily food intake on a website like thedailyplate.com or sparkpeople.com. A good program for starting to run is C25K. You can google it. Or try Jillian Michael's dvd "30 Day Shred" for $9 at Target or Walmart.

    From personal experience, if you can afford it, I'd highly recommend a program like Weight Watchers. They teach a lifestyle, not a diet. It's an excellent program that has helped me to lose over 50 lbs.
