Thanks for the tips, it was definitely an awesome class!
I'm very flexible and I love doing yoga. Even though I could do all of the poses in the class without any problem, it was still one of the most challenging things I've ever done. I did feel dizzy a lot throughout the rest of the day, even though I was doing my best to stay hydrated by keeping water with me at all times. I'm hoping that by doing it some more I will get used to it and not have this experience each time.
I am also very sore in my lower back. I swear, the way it hurts you'd think I'd never worked those muscles in my life!
It was a great class and while it was definitely intimidating, I will be going back! It was an incredible workout (650 calories burned in 90 minutes... doing YOGA... I never burn that much in a yoga class, not even hot vinyasa) and I really felt amazing afterwards, minus the dizziness.
