L- tomato wrap with grilled chicken, spinach, feta, and balsamic dress
D- sirloin tips with veg and baked potato

    B- PB banana smoothie w/one scoop chocolate protein powder
    S- Laughing Cow wedge (garlic & herb) with 6 crackers, 1 cup cubed cantaloupe
    L- 6" Subway sandwich on whole wheat (no oil or mayo, but I did have a little bit of the Southwest sauce)
    S- 2 cups Rocky Mountain Popcorn Factory white cheddar popcorn
    D- Leftover Indian food I made last night (chicken tikka masala, pav bhaji and rice with 1/2 piece of naan bread)
    S- Sugar-free Jell-O pudding cup (either chocolate or dulce de leche)

    E- 25 minutes HIIT on the treadmill, 25 minutes weight lifting (I didn't get my full workout in since I was running late to work this morning, stupid traffic jam!)

  • Breakfast – Whole Wheat Bagel with  Egg, Turkey Sausage, Cheese & Coffee with splenda.

    Snack – Greek Yogurt

    Lunch – Bagel thin, chicken breast, slice of cheese, a pickle, and an apple.

    Snack – String cheese and nuts

    Dinner – some raviolis I made w/ a little bit of tomato sauce

    Snack - ? maybe watermelon

    D: turkey sausages and salad, maybe side of quinoa.

    This weekend was a bust. I skipped out on all things healthy when we were in Cambridge - no exercise and a lot of junk food. Ouch. \

    B - homemade blueberry "doughnut"
    S - Banana
    L - Big garden salad (no chicken because I forgot it before I ran out of the house!)
    S - vanilla and honey greek yogurt
    S - watermelon
    D - Blueberry wheat pancakes
    (I'm trying to finish up all of last year's blueberries before this season's are ready to pick!)

    E - first day of C25K today! Looking for some type of routine for abs and arms that I can set goals for as well....
  • this weekend was the annual lobster bake, I had a 2.5 lb lobster and about 60 beers, I need to watch it this week! On Saturday morning I had lost 4 lbs total since my working out started and this morning when I weighed in I had gained 1.2 lbs, booo... .

    B- nutrigrain bar 
    S- string cheese
    L- tuna sandwich and watermelon ... maybe
    D- not sure yet, probably some type of chicken

    E- 45 minutes on elliptical and 20 minutes working on the arm machines (CHECK!)

  • Ok, after a horrible week last week, and a weekend spent at Hershey Park with crap food, I don't even want to check the scale :( But fi's mom is finally coming home from the hospital today so my gym schedule is finally going to be back!

    B - strawberry chobani w. multigrain cheerios
    S - clementines
    L - plain pita chips
    S - chocolate almond cherry luna bar
    D - grilled jamaican jerk chicken with grilled veggies and brown rice

    E - 2 mile walk at lunch, hour on elliptical

  • Raynes, I never sleep well on Sunday nights either. Dread combined with interrupted routine combined with leftover weekend adrenaline...

    B: FF Greek yogurt, mixed berries, almonds/walnuts and splash of Kashi GoLean
    S: Carrots with caramelized onion hommus
    L: Chop't spinach salad w/black beans, broccoli, green beens, and bell peppers; red wine vinaigrette
    D: Endives w/oranges, almonds, goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette; some other veggie. Probably some dark chocolate for dessert.
    E: Week 3 of C25K and some arm/legs heavy weights. Week 1 was awesome, but I barely made it through Week 2 - just dragging for some reason. A little scared to start Week 3.

    L - 2 portobello mushroom fajitas on corn tortillas

    S - Wheatgrass-celery-apple juice

    D - Grilled shrimp skewers, grilled asparagus "rafts" and zucchini/basil/palm heart salad

  • late B: stick of cheddar cheese tall glass of water
    L: 6" club on sourdough no mayo, 1oz baked lays medium cup of water
    D: i soft taco with small whole wheat tortilla, 1.5 oz of taco beef, 1.5 oz of refried beans .5 oz cheese lots of lettuce and salsa. 10 tator tots
    D seconds (because i really was still hungry) salad with lots of lettuce and fresh cilantro fresh salsa, 1oz taco beef and .5oz of cheese. cilantro lime dressing made with light sour cream little ovoo honey lots of cilantro and lime juice. this was more satisfying than the soft taco. tall glass of crystal light peach tea.

    E: we stayed up really late last night and went to the gym after midnight, i did about 40 mins on several machines, mostly the eliptical for a total of 350 calories burned and 3 reps of 5 arm lift thingys. went to sleep sometime after 5am thanks to getting water stuck in my ear being miserable for over an hour before i read online to use rubbing alcohol.
    after waking up late today (hence no real breakfast) i had to move a bunch of stuff from up in the loft down stairs to make room for the sheetrock delivery. went up and down the stairs 8 times carrying things.
    i was so EXHAUSTED by 5 in the evening and napped for sevral hours before dinner.
