i have one year to lose at least 15lbs.. but i love brownies.... wat to do ...lol

  • Are you enlisting yourself into a gym?  What does your current lifestyle diet look like?

    Have you tried http://www.thedailyplate.com/ There is a free section, and they show exercises :)

  • I love sweet treats too.  But I only allow myself a treat if I do atleast 1 hour of vigorous exercise - great motivator to go to the gym. 

    1 hour spin = 1 cookie
    1.5 hours boxing = 1 scoop ice cream.

    I still managed to lose 7lbs last month without depriving myself of treats.  I did 3 miles and lifted weights today = 1 green tea mochi.


  • a year is plenty of time!  i made two changes that helped me lose about 10 pounds in 3 months.

    my tricks are no eating after 7:30pm 
    no diet soda (so bad for you and aspartame confuses your body)

    15 pounds in a year should be easy.  I would start off with a 7 day detox.  I'm on one now for my wedding that's 1/1/11.  Last time I did the detox I lost 6 pounds in one week.  It would be a good way to jump start your weight loss.  You just take supplements and eat as many veggies as you like 1 protein and 3 fruits a day.

  • I am in the same boat, I want to lose 20 pound and I have 11 months, I am setting myself a goal of 5 pounds a month, I am starting today with the detox, also cutting out all soda (which I am addicted to) and not going to eat past 7pm.
    Last time I did this it was easy to lose weight, lets see how it works, lol. Good luck to you also
