Recommend your exercise/yoga mat please!

So I really want (and need) to get in better shape. I need to buy an exercise mat b/c we have hardwood floors, and the rug in the living room is older and very thin. I have a yoga mat but it's not very thick.

Gaiam.com has a large selection of yoga mats that are great and very cute. But, if you want less expensive, you can just go to your local Target or Walmart, they should have a variety there as well. HTH!

My favorite is a little pricey but it's SUPER thick and it lasts a very long time!  It's the manduka mat; it's black and the thickness of like 3 mats.  I LOVE it!

Try the Golden Earth brand, available from a variety of vendors.
I got mine from TJ Maxx a few years back for about $10; retails for $30+!
I use it when I do any yoga, sit-ups, stretches, etc.
It's thick and sturdy, but cushy and soft. Wipe it down for easy clean up.
Added bonus use: place on top of a chest of drawers to prevent scratches in moving van. Worked like charm in an OH to FL move!
