Any Wii Fit Knotties on here?

I never could get into a serious workout program, but I'm dieting and trying to do 60-90 minutes a day on Wii Fit plus. So far it's working for me, anyone else?

Re: Any Wii Fit Knotties on here?

  • I am also a Wii Fit Knottie. I love my Wii Fit especially right now that it's rainy season and it's hard to go out and walk/run in the rain.

I personally have been doing 15-30 minutes in the morning and 30-45 minutes at night to make an hour a day I work out. I switch off one day I'll do more cardio and the next day I do the strength training. It's been helping me. I've been feeling much better!
I don't mind growing old, as long as I'm growing old with you. (:

  • I'm a Wii Fit Knottie. My MFIL, my fiance, and I all use it and try to beat each others scores. So far, I'm winning. I'm just trying to tone and the yoga definitely helps.
  • I have wii fit but I prefer the gym. However after reading this post I might try to get back in to it since the OP is seeing resuls from it.
  • I also love wii fit. I have had a lot of fun/success with EA Sports on Wii. You can do "challenges" where it holds you accountable to a program for 30 days!
  • I read about that EA Sports game, too... maybe I'll check it out. I have lost motivation in this heat (it's been above 95 and mostly above 102 for the last week and a half) and now I am losing weight very slowly...

Although, it could also be the five birthday parties since June 18 and all that cake... hmm... Wink

Down 4.2 lbs total, 37.3 to go, about 38 weeks to lose it all!
Goodness me, what did I get myself into?
  • I also forgot to mention that I am currently teetering on the line between overweight and obese here, and wii fit says an ideal weight for me is about 145... I am aiming for 15 lbs. over that, at 160. Losing 40 lb. is an awful lot of weight, but because I am tall it's what I need to do to be healthier.

I didn't want anyone to think I am 5' and 120 lbs and trying to lose a ton of weight to be rail thin!  Wink

  • My FI does wii fit but complains about the orange band things being too light so we were going to search around for stronger bands; any chance someone else has run into that and already done the research for us? :)
