Getting in Shape

Inabilitiy issues

I have an issue in which I am not allowed to do a lot of physical active due to an injury involving my foot. As per the doctor's orders, I am not allowed to walk, run, bike, swim, breahte or eat (okay the last two are fake, but it is how I feel...lol). I work retail and I am on my feet about 8 hours a day and I am getting a lot of flack for that. Does anyone have any workout tips to get started? I am looking to lose about 40 lbs.
